Preamble
These general terms and conditions of sale (hereinafter "T&Cs") are issued by CS SERRURIER DEPANNEUR 84, a sole proprietorship run by Saïd Chennoufi, registered with the Avignon Trade and Companies Register under number 944 956 093, with its registered office at 7 Rue du Colibri, 84000 Avignon. They govern all locksmith and domestic glazing services provided to private individuals in Avignon and within 40 km around it.
1. Quotes
Every quote is free and without obligation. The call-out for drawing up the quote is free of charge as long as you have not approved the work. The price stated on the quote is firm and is not subject to any later increase.
2. Approval and performance
No work begins without explicit approval of the quote. A signature or a recorded verbal agreement constitutes acceptance of these T&Cs.
3. Response times
The stated 30-minute response time applies in Avignon and within 40 km around it, subject to immediate availability. If something unexpected arises, I will let you know and give you a new estimated time.
4. Warranty
Parts and labour are guaranteed for 2 years from the date of the work. This warranty does not cover deliberate damage, normal wear and tear, or improper use.
You also benefit from the legal warranty of conformity (articles L.217-3 and following of the French Consumer Code) and the warranty against hidden defects (articles 1641 and following of the French Civil Code).
5. Means of payment
Bank card (mobile terminal), cash, bank transfer, cheque. The invoice is handed over immediately after the work, compliant with insurers' requirements.
6. Right of withdrawal
For non-urgent work scheduled at your home, you have a 14-day right of withdrawal from the date you sign the quote (article L.221-18 of the French Consumer Code). For urgent work (slammed door, securing premises after a burglary, etc.) that you expressly ask to be carried out immediately, this right does not apply (article L.221-25).
7. Mediation and disputes
In the event of a dispute, an amicable solution will be sought as a priority. In accordance with articles L.611-1 and following of the French Consumer Code, you may use a consumer mediator free of charge (see legal notice).
Failing an amicable resolution, the courts of Avignon shall have sole jurisdiction.
The French version is legally binding.
